Earn extra money and work hours that suit you with the STA Swimming Teaching Award

Now booking: STA Level 2 Swimming Teaching Award

Water Lilies Swimming School is booking now for the STA Level 2 Teaching Award. The course hosted by Water Lilies Swimming School is running in April 2014 at the Archbishop Sancroft Pool in Harleston.

This STA Award will enable you to teach up to 10 beginners and deliver the STAnley Series of awards, as well as the Octopus and Goldfish Series of the STA’s international Learn to Swim Programme. You may also act as an assistant swimming teacher and can teach larger classes or advanced skills under the direct supervision of a swimming teacher qualified to certificate level. Please note, there are a few pre-requisites to be able to attend:

  • Be of 16 years of age or older
  • Hold current membership with STA
  • Hold the STA Award in Pool Emergency Procedures or acceptable equivalent
  • Hold either the STA Safeguarding Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults certificate or acceptable equivalent.
