Congratulations to all the children nominated for the Woolnough Trophy!
Each term Water Lilies Swimming School instructors nominate two 'Star Swimmers' for their effort, enthusiasm and achievement throughout the term.
The Woolnough Trophy was donated to Water Lilies Swimming School in 2007 and we have awarded the trophy to one of our swimmers every term since.
Winning the Trophy is a great achievement as we teach over 1,400 children.
And the winner is...
We are delighted to announce that the Autumn 2015 Term winner is Ewan Lennard who swims with Water Lilies Swimming School in the Flixton Road Bungay pool. Congratulations Ewan!
Ewan was nominated by his instructor Lucie, she explains:
”Ewan has made great strides with his technique that makes me regard him as a Water Lilies ‘Star Swimmer’. He listens well, tries hard and has seen the results this term. Well done Ewan - we’re really impressed.”
Mr McKinney, Headmaster at Old Henstead School is presenting Ewan with the Water Lilies’ golden trophy during his school assembly.
