The Woolnough Trophy goes to...

Congratulations to all the children nominated for the Spring and Summer 2015 Trophy!

Each term Water Lilies Swimming School instructors nominate two children for their effort, enthusiasm and achievement throughout the term.

The Woolnough Trophy was donated to Water Lilies Swimming School in 2007 and we have awarded the trophy to one of our swimmers every term since.

Winning the Trophy is a great achievement as we teach over 1,200 children.

And the winner is...

We are delighted to announce that the Spring / September 2015 term winner is Jack Wenn who swims with Water Lilies Swimming School in the Quidenham pool. Congratulations Jack! 

Jack's instructor Shirley and Hannah from Water Lilies surprised Jack at his school to present him with the golden Trophy during assembly. Thank you for the warm welcome everyone at Diss Infants!  

"Jack has really had to overcome his feelings in the pool, being on his front and his back and going out of his depth. He hated the feeling of water on his face and in his eyes and is now able to completely submerge, tread water, jump in, swim both front and back and has a really good breastroke! He's so welcoming to other friends in his class and always has something nice to say. He is an absolute pleasure to teach and is such a lovely little boy. Well done Jack!" explains Shirley.
